Comments: Glenda was born in Inglewood, California, and then reared in Pasadena and Dunsmuir. She has always excelled at playing the piano and singing, so she used that talent to teach and direct music in several elementary schools, church choirs for all ages, and private piano lessons. She has also performed to great reviews in local concerts, either as accompaniment or solo. She is great at word games of all types, completing crossword puzzles and similar games in ink.

Lud and Glenda met at a folk dance when they were both students at San Jose State University. Sebastopol's liberal United Church of Christ (UCC) plays a very big part in their lives and is essentially their extended family and second home. Glenda leans more towards broad-scoped Christian faith, while Lud is much more agnostic.
