Comments: John was baptised on 17 Aug 1718. He is mentioned in his father's Will and in his brother Jeremiah's Will of which he was executor in 1786. From Jeremiah, John inherited a butcher's shop in Newnham. It is probable that this butcher's shop was later passed down to his son William and then to his grandson William. According to another document, John was also executor to the Will of Thomas Wanstell.
