It is believed that David Knight and Eliza Deag married in 1842. Eliza could not yet write her name. In 1851 they were living at 84 Suffolk Street in Birmingham where they had a 62 year old servant, Mary Ann Wilson, from Ireland. By 1861, they were living at 26 Hockley Street but without a servant.
