A drawing of Jacob Dirks' bakery in the 18th Century.

The outside of the bakery in the 18th Century. The bakery was on the nearest corner where the stall stands, with the elegant window on the first floor. The side street with the corner shops is probably the Schippersgracht, the Schips Canal, drawn without the canal so as not to disturb the depicted scene.
